The unfortunate shock a new doctor faces as he realizes he cannot heal all the people.
|It has always been a dream of mine,
To ease the pain of others.
I have worked so hard to get here.
Now I'm ready to heal the sick.
I've studied the field.
I've worked with the best.
But what I've become
Was not my intent.
I dreamed of a people in need,
Of whom I would help.
Using knowledge and medicine,
For a disease that would heal.
Yet, reality has stolen the dream from me.
I have become an angel of death who knocks at one's door.
A bearer of bad news, daily I report.
A patient's life is ending, malignant tumors have spread.
The more patients I see,
The more death I dispense.
Day after day,
Each day more deadlier than yesterday.
And all I wanted to do was heal the sick.
