Only When

This is a poem describing trials we all go through.

Only when i died did I learn to live.

Only when i hurt did I learn to heal.

Only being beat did I learn to  fight.

Only when i did wrong did I learn right.

Only when it was dark did I seek light.
.
Only being taught hate  I sought love.

Only when I felt vengeance i learned forgiveness.

Only when I failed did I learn to succeed.

Only when I fell did I learn to stand.

Only when I was lonely I learned to reach out my hand.

Only being taught silence I learned to speak.

Only when we are tested pushed to our limits do we truly find what we are capable of.

Only when I found a friend did I learn to understand.
