a love i now have back in my life

Leaves fall in a cool September sky
As he is looking into her eyes and says the only words that come to mind are i love you.
She looks back into his as a raindrop lands on her nose and she says i feel the same way.
It was so hard for them to let go of each other when they parted that day.
And when they did she knew her world would never be the same.
She wondered how she could feel like this over someone she had only met weeks before.
But she new deep down she loved him.
And now she sits wondering what has happened to them
How did they go from the people they were to the people that they are now.
She sits here looking at him and she doesn’t see what she used to in his eyes.
She knows that they can’t go back in time to what they used to be.
But she still wishes that she could.
Deep down there will always be a special place for him in her heart
