You know when you feel like there's too just too much emotion in you to handle?

I kneel and pray,
To numb my brain, my senses.
To make a raft for my pain,
And set it sailing away,
Even if the tide will bring it back again.
To hide under the sheets in agony,
And scream my pain away,
Hoping to stay in the darkness for eternity.
