Skewed society

Please forgive any spelling or grammatical mistakes as I wrote this late last night

Whats wrong with everybody
When everywhere we look we see
Innocent people sleeping in the road
While people cruise by in their SUVs

Not so much as glancing at
The poverty in the street
They sit at a table getting nice and fat
While others have nothing to eat

So whose to blame masking this
With gold lined, rose colored glasses,
With lenses as dark as an eternal abyss,
just to blind the masses

From what they really need to view,
To better understand
That what they used to say is true
About not judging others til you've walked a mile in their shoes.

so next time you see somebody
W ho's more then a bit down on their luck
Stop by and ask if they ne ed help
To show someone gives a fuck.
