The troubles of growing up
The world was mine when I was little
My kingdom had no end in sight
My subjects all lived in harmony
And between my two ears we were happy

I had all but one on my side
Father Time stood my only enemy
And every hour when he chimed his bell
I was burdened with age and responsibility

As time flew by my kingdom shrunk
Making room for math, science and history
The once beautiful fields and marvelous oceans
Seemed less interesting to the ageing king

When the hourglass drained
Father Time knocked on my door
I left my Kingdome
I could imagine no more
