Standing alone, here on my own

I am waiting, waiting for you.

Still and faithful, I stand alone.

How quiet I am without you.


I want you to come sit with me.

I need your company again.

I want things to be like they were.

Life was perfect while you were here.

Strong and brave, I stand on my own.

My heart beats slowly, I am calm.

I grow tired, my heart aches.

Still I wait, praying you will come.
