I am only me, as you are only you.
I can't buy you diamond rings
or any other nice expensive things
Polished lavish meals fit for a king
gullible dancing fools who persistently sing

I can't give you enormous wings to fly away
or dauntless beings eager for you to lead astray
Secluded in imagination, boundless in dreams
I close my ears to the excruciating screams

All I have is what I am
Just the being inside my skin
nothing more nothing less
Whats on the outside is only my taste of dress

Change makes the world go round
embrace the plausible unordinary sound
I may not be able to buy beautiful things
but I’m rich with-in and with what life brings

I am only me
That’s all I will ever be
