A poem about wishing to be good enough. |
| We are never good enough for what you want Nor do we live up to your lofty standards You put us down every chance you get Never letting us explain We wish we could be what you wanted But we never will, Perfection eludes us Like ghosts in the darkness You makes us feel unwanted and unloved Yet you say otherwise You claim your life would be better Without us Sorry we will never make you happy Or give you what you want We can only be ourselves |
