I love my Deep Secret

I have a deep secret
Buried in my garden,
Tucked away
Where no one can see.

Dormant it lies,
Unaware
Of the impact
It's glory will bring.

Imperious and strong,
His crown is prepared.
For he is a king
Without any equal.

Sometimes it lives
And gives off a scent,
So strong
Its cover is blown.

Its heart
Is blacker than coal,
Its cloak
A burgundy silk.
