Blue

A poem I wrote for English class.

Blue is the sky
on a clear summer day.
Blue is the lake
or the pond, or the bay.

Blue is my jeans
worn and ripped.
Blue is my shoes
stepped into quick.

Blue is good memories,
that can't be relived.
Blue is the time
spent wishing they could.

Blue is a friend,
who shows you the way.
Blue is the future,
and a brand new day.
