A 14 line poem about new things each member of my family encounters. |
| My dad faces the new day with vigor. By hard work and effort he gains respect. You will not find a heart that is bigger. My sister starts a new writing project, A memoir about her struggles thus far, Filled with tales of trial and angst, I expect. My brother sells yet another new car. Loves his customers, his style they adore. He does real well, really raises the bar. My mother searches for new home decor, Something for the bathroom, bedroom or den. She’s a professional shopper, hardcore. I write a new poem, hope it will win. Second’s no good so I try try again. |
