A teen looking in the Mirror.. seeing herself through the eyes of others and her own eyes.

In the mirror,
there I see
first through their eyes
then my version of me.

In the mirror,
there I peek
eyes of blue
crying for reasons meek

In the mirror,
there I look
never the smartest
nose always in a book

In the mirror,
there I leer
strong as steal
with hero-like fear

In the mirror,
there I gawk
needing protection
willing to fight with talk

In the mirror,
there I stare
annoying as hell
fighting for what's fair
