A poem about a magic doorway shrouded in a labyrinth of an enchanted forest.
That transcends space, imagination and history.
Legend says it leads to an enchanted abode,
Or a doorway to heaven with streets made of gold.
The forest resides in a place that's secret and hidden,
Which can only be found to those that are bidden.
The mystic force that fills this sacred hallow,
Gives life to the trees and the ground that is fallow.
For the mortals that are summoned to this hidden place,
Will observe the glow of mystery's very face.
To he who is so blessed to pass through the door,
Will find a land of nostalgia and lore.
Consider the tale of a man who once entered;
Through the stone doors where the mystery is centered.
He laid one night on his bed,
And suddenly a light filled his head.
At first he was frightened and very confused,
Then he saw a shining being with which he communed.
The being spoke of an awesome secret unknown to any man,
But the one whom this was told did not yet understand.10
He was told to follow a stony path that magically appeared,
It started at a forest grove that he timidly came near.
As he walked the being departed from his mind,
Leaving him mystified at what he was to find.
Behold stone doors situated in a great tree,
Decked with celestial signs that made him feel peaceful and serene.
He approached the door with wonder in his eyes,
As the doors opened what he saw made him cry
What was the inexplicable sight that he did see?
It was for him to know but for us shrouded dream.
