Dreams are pointless

You took all my dreams and crushed them

Bit by bit

Word by word

But then you act like everything is fine and like you did nothing wrong

Why do I care so much about someone who has only treated me wrong

Why do I love you?

I'm supposed to but I shouldn't

The things you have done and the lies and deceit

But I still care

Because I am weak

Just like you said I would be

I am still nothing

Because you were supposed to build my dreams

Instead you crushed them

Stomped them to pieces

And now I don't dream anymore

There's no point to it

Because that's what dreams are
