Separated

I feel (and so do others) that this is one of my saddest poems.

Such sadness I feel
For a love that was lost
Those ignorant fools
Knew not what it cost.
The cost of each other
Upon both of their souls
And now in each of their hearts
Sits two giant holes.

Never again will their eyes meet
Never again will they love so sweet

Till the day that they die
They will search for each other
But alas it is useless
For they will never again find their true lover.
