When words fail.
            "Writer's Block"

When I write, sometimes I stare,
wanting to share, I put pen to paper.
As thoughts appear, and ink flows,
Again thoughts come and go.

Now blocked the stare returns.
Thoughts cease, lexis won't appear.
Again words escape me.

Writer's Block leaves another casualty.
What is a writer without his words?
What is the story without it's inspiration?
What is a poem without it's passion?

A mind trapped is a mind ensnared.
We must find a place of contentment,
Peace and release to free the mind.
Still writers block may hold the hostage.

The Author tries to release his mind, but
becomes even more imprisoned than before.
Then without notice the dam breaks.
A flood of words suddenly overflowing,
almost to fast to keep up with, or comprehend!

Relief the gift is back!
