Moon Night

The moon was too big, as I looked it had swelled to twice its size. Hypnotising the earth and its inhabitants, it loomed.

I felt it's breath on my eyes. I could no longer tread the flood water. I glimpsed the others silently treading their fate.

I withdrew beneath the waves.
