Credit is due to you!

Gratitude is mine!

I give credit where it is due.
If there is nothing to be thankful for...then I shall stay silent.
Yet, I can look around and see that
credit is due to many.
I can look and see...that
I have much to be thankful for.

My husband's warm arms surrounding me
as the night envelopes us.
His kiss gently landing on my lips.
The butterflies inside my belly.
Thank you God! 

My sister's phone call on a bad day.
Her voice cheerful and carefree.
The jokes she makes at the perfect time.
The best friend that she will always be.
Thank you God!

My mother's and father's stern...kind...advice.
The wisdom that comes from years of
hurt, joy, love, and sacrifice.
The shoulder to cry on and the
"Mommy and Daddy love you!"
Thank God!
