The Dance

Written about my second dance with my dad, who has only been back in my life since 2008.

WE got the chance to dance again
for just a moment in time,
To make some memories for us to keep
if only in our minds.
As we danced, I looked into your eyes
and I saw the love reflected there.
You didn't have to say to me,
love you, because it was already there!
The beautiful eyes I was gazing at,
resembled eyes I know.....
They say our eyes are windows,
portals to our soul!
I hope as you looked back at me
you saw the love inside, for someone
who I love so much
and will through out time!
