A life is one snowfall,
a brief frosty reign
that passes, and overall

In one moment
came, one solemn second,
so long its like torment

Everything was lost,
but fear not brave fellow,
for fortune has tossed,

Many gay little smiles
shared with family and friends,
and though all the while

Life's pain never ends,
but worry not my child
all wounds will mend,

For time never stills,
to allow careful thought.
So live life as you will

And answer my call,
you live only once, and once is all.
