What is Time? A Poem

A simple non-rhyming poem, though rather philosophical and thoughtful.

What is time?
A gentle wave in life
Or the reason we are here?
The clock is ticking.
Time passes-
Make your decision
Before it's too late.

Only you decide your life,
Only you can set it on the right path,
Only you can right the wrongs for yourself,
Don't wait until you're almost out of time,
But don't push yourself too hard either.

Time is fragile;
Don't break it.
Time is gentle;
Don't rush it.
Time is fast;
Catch up to it-

Time is not a toy,
Don't play too hard with it
Treat it gently
And it will let you pass
By in life with a happy face
Because time will only do
What you do to it.
So don't treat it badly.
Set a schedule
Give everything a place-
Because everything has a place
In time.

Time is fragile;

Time is fast;
Catch up to it-
But don’t ever let it go…

Because time is limited
Understand,
Know,
Believe it-
It's what life depends on
It's what life is.
