Grandfather

Dedicated to my grandfather who passed 6 months before I was born.

I love you dearly

Though we've never met

Life without you is hard to forget

All the good times we could have had

Makes me really, really sad

I mourn at day and cry at night

It must be a horrible sight

But with you up there watching over me

I feel protected with safety

I lost you six months before I was born

But I know you loved me and you still do

I still have one question though,

Why did fate have to make me lose you?
