What I learned, liked or disliked about Lesson 7.
DISCUSSION TOPIC

Answer the following questions in the classroom forum. Please label your post "DT - 7" and remember to respond to your fellow classmates.

Did you find the information in this lesson helpful? Do you think it will be easier to review chapters and novellas, or do you feel overwhelmed with the amount of information involved in such a review?

Do you enjoy reviewing chapters and novellas, or do you prefer shorter pieces. Why?

What do you believe are some of the advantages and disadvantages of posting chapters on a site such as Writing.Com for review?

Not knowing much about the length of the various pieces, learning this was a big help. I got a lot out of learning that individual chapters are as an episodes and have rising action, climax, and resolutions within themselves.

Introducing the reviewing technique of pace was good to learn and helpful. I enjoyed reviewing a chapter, as I do want to branch out from short story writing, and this lesson will give me a push. I like reviewing all lengths of stories.

If a student posts a few chapters on this site for review, it would be helpful for h/she to discover what the reviewers have to say. This might keep the writer on track to writing a story that complies with the teachings of sound writing.
