I would like to tell you a story
Yes I would, right at the moment
Or after it, or after that
Or after the one, which is not coming back

The story would be about some me’s
Yes it would, 'cause it’s all that it needs
Or maybe it’s you's, or maybe it’s them's
Or maybe we won’t know ‘til it comes to an end

The story would start with ‘Hello’ or a ‘Hi’
Yes it would, for it would be polite
Or shall it be ‘Bye’, or even ‘Oh my!’
I guess it shall, if the story won’t mind

The story would grow and come to a cross-way
Yes it would, as they all do it some day
Or maybe it’d shrink to travel for longer
Or perhaps it’d fly and seek for the borders

The story would choose to be such a story
Yes it would, because it shan't be boring
Or it would let the decision to be made by a man
Or it could sit for a while and come up with a plan

The story would travel through all of its length
Yes it would, for it's the part when we shout 'Again!'
Or it may lead to confusion or sadness
Or it might leave you laughing in madness

This story would like to tell you a story
