The Boy

The story of two teens in love in a long distance relationship.

Getting dressed up for a boy that may never come

Staying up all night for a boy who won't call cause he's out having fun

Praying that he is happy even without her there

Hoping he is okay even when she is in despair

She says he still loves her when she doesn't believe herself anymore

Knowing he doesn't want her back

She lies herself to sleep

But secretly as she cries

He is home doing the same

Wishing he could go back

To cure her pain

Hoping she will still love him

When he doubts she still does

While she is at home

Dreading the whispers her friends will say

And while he is at home hoping she will forgive him one day

"She doesn't love me..."

"He will never know how much I care..."

"I wish he would call..."

"I wish I could be there..."
