ME IS ALL I CAN BE

I try my best to

Talk the talk, walk the walk

But I fail and fail miserably

Who am I trying to be




I try very hard to

Be the best, never let them rest

I fall, lie bruised and battered

When will I be free





I work so hard

To be what I can never be

So to save me some trouble

I just better be me
