This is about a girl who loves someone, but let him go because the guy loves somebody else

In my dreams, you hold me tight

never letting me out of your sight

your hand always locked with mine

keeping others out of my line


It gives me goosebumps to see you here

yet there falls down another tear

“Why?” you asked suddenly

lifting my chin so you could see me


I just shrugged and ran away

leaving you without anything to say

I shout to myself “Wake up! Wake up!”

knelt down whispering “This is enough"


As I open my eyes, and reality came

I see that everything is still the same

There’s still nobody to hold me tight

never letting me out of their sight


No hands locked with mine

No one to keep others out of my line

I regret the day I let you go

when you told me you love her so


I regret hugging you goodbye

mad for not giving us another try

I know you’re very happy with her

making my life such a messy blur


Of course, I don’t blame you

It’s my fault I landed as number two

so I close my eyes and dare
