What would happen if i left this world?

If I left,
Would you cry,
What would you do,
If I told you,
How my mind works,
The thoughts that scare,
The thoughts that kill

So tempting it is to leave,
To turn my back on everything,
To watch you go,
Will you catch me,
Or let me fade

My heart you have
What will you do,
Squash it flat or protect it
I’m only human,

But do you know what stays my hand,
I know you love me,
I feel the same,
If I’m honest though,
If truth be told,
You’re the key that stops me so,

If up to me all alone,
I fear my choice,
It would displease
