My Story

Poem about meeting someone that made my mind race.

TIME STOPPED
everything was frozen in place
i knew i wouldn't let go
as soon as i saw your face.
HEART BUSTED
here came the end of the day
didn't think i'd see you again
thought that i would be okay.
MIND RACING
i couldn't decide what to say
just couldn't make up my mind
you kept steppin' gettin' farther away.
TRAPPED IN
nothing could ever pull me away
i was stuck in a trance
everything else started to fade.

i know i can't let go
every time i see your face.
HEART BUSTED
here comes the end of the day
still don't know when i'll see you again
i know that i will be okay.
MIND RACING
i can't decide what to say
just can't make up my mind
don't want you mad at the fact that i'm going away.
TRAPPED IN

im still stuck in that trance
everyone else has faded to grey.
