Snow Queen




Winter has fallen upon my soul
My tears turn to shards of ice
That pierce the virgin snow

Soft as a whisper
I hear her footsteps fall behind me
The wind carries her scornful laughter

All hope has left me
And I fall to my knees
There's no warmth in her soul
There's no life in her eyes
Mercilessly she descends to claim her victory
I'm overtaken by the Snow Queen


A chill settles into my bones
This relentless persuit of my heart
Has left me cold, and hard as stone

I so long for my one true love
But she closed his eyes forever
And sent him to heaven above
