a poetry i wrote after ages of writers block... im sorta proud i came up with something!!!

I found a missing part of myself

A part I never knew I went without

I found a piece of my soul today

A side of me, I find hard to doubt



You are who I’ve been waiting for

The reason I searched for, from years past

You’re everything I have wanted

But we are worlds apart



I found the missing puzzle piece

The skipping beats of my heart

The chorus to my song called life

The ace in my deck of cards



You know me better than I ever have

Like it’s been ages and not just the start

You say this is it; this is as real as can be

We are in this together, but we are worlds apart



So I give myself to you

Come now whatever may

I’d rather feel this happy for a short while

Than have a life time of just ok



Coz you are the reason the sun shines so bright

The reason for my forever fluttering heart

You are who I’ll carry with me my whole life

But you are not here, we are worlds apart.
