A very short poem!
Behind Closed Doors

I’ve closed the door on yesterday, and thrown away the key,
I locked away sad memories, that never set me free.

I’ve locked behind those bitter doors, a life of hurt and pain,
But since I threw away the key, I have new love to gain.

I’ve closed the door on yesterday, those bitter years of strife,
I look towards tomorrow, and seek a better life.
