A poem I wrote about a special someone

By way of day
And through out the night
You say simple words
And make everything seem alright

It's more than a little wonder
So often do I ponder it
My piece of life
My miracle that is you

You say what you say
You do what you do
And you do it all in your own little way

You're my favorite smile
You're the laugh I like
You're the eyes so ringed in blue
You're the you that I love so true

You're the one I want to be with
You're the one that I call home
You're the one who owns my peace
And you're the one who owns my heart

You own me, and I won't let you go.
