Why should I hide

Why am I running from you

My steps are growing unsteady

You don't understand me

I realize now you never did

Why should I stand here with you

To allow you to torment me with a smile

Showing me what I lost that day

To make me feel I don't belong

I miss you still today

But I see my life slowly fading

Its fading into dark oblivion

I don't know anymore

I don't know what to say

Yet still I run and try to hide

To keep my distance from you

But I know as long as I run

It will be of no use

Because you are still there

You are still in my thoughts
