Alterego

This is my first poem, the one which i started writing. It is very near to my heart.

Me moment , second, day, month, year, decade,
You lived up this earlier mentioned level or limit.
Do you know who I am?
I am your shadow in different disguised shapes.
Do you want to know my name?
I am time your friend.
I am approaching with hurried steps,
Keep your doors open,
So that I may approach you as
breathing life giving air.
