i wrote this for a 9-11 project for my english class
ARAB.
such a feared,
and critisized name.

children hear it,
and begin to judge.
for we fear another 9-11,
where the name "Arab" quickly gained it's fame.

our boarders are up,
our security tightened.
but when we hear of terrorist bombings,
we can't help but be frightened.

flash backs come alive,
the smoke, dust, screaming, and jumping.
lungs hurting,
hearts thumping,
one by one, they took a deep breath and DOVE!

with each casualty,
a story of it's very own.
every last action, every last breath,
is stitched into our nation, hand sewn.

America the great, America the beautiful,
our guard, our security, our protector.
you try your best, that;s all we can ask,
but 9-11 scares us still, as i suppose it will forever
