Not enough.

It's not so easy anymore
To bear yourself to the world
Let them see
What it does to you
Your spirit, your soul

Laying it bear
The pain, the struggle
The constant gnawing that
You're not good enough
Not happy enough
Not thin enough
Not straight enough
Not enough

A struggle within
Suddenly allowed to breath the air
Sucking in strength
To beat you into submission
Beat you at your own game

Pain etched upon your skin
In your face
On your arms
But the pain they cannot see
Buried so deep inside
Is whats killing you

Whilst it's all laid bare
Still they do not see
Blinded to your hurt
They continue on

As you fall victim to the fight within
Alone, and afraid.
Afraid that even in death
You still aren't enough.
