Memories past of peaceful moments
Struggle to remind of deeper faith.

Constant barrage of temptation
Fortifies empty desolation.
Hope becomes hidden
As light gets shifted.

But through a voice
Angelic in message,
A new light begins
Where evil once played.

Messenger of the word,
Redemption within reach,
Prayer and forgiveness
Is more than ours to keep.

There is heaven and earth,
Darkness and light,
But more to the truth,
From beginning to end- is God
