DEAR LORD PLEASE GUIDE ME TODAY

Dear Lord please guide me today
As I travel life’s highway

When I face a big tough test
Give me strength to do my best.
When I walk a long rough trail
Lord have patience when I fail.

Help me love all those I meet
Both at church and on the street.
Let me never hateful be
Even when I disagree.

May I always freely share
With those in need everywhere.
Thankful may I ever be
For all that You give to me.

And when my long day is through
Lord may I still think of You.
Please give me peace and rest
Help me believe that You know best.
