Looking back with no regrets

We danced in the sun as it shone down its rays,
We danced in the rain and its fine misty haze.
We danced on the roof tops so high in the air,
We danced in the allies so dark with despair.
We danced full of joy and full of thanksgiving,
We danced when exhausted and tired of living.
When she first caught my eye, I was entranced,
She lays at rest now and I am so glad we danced.
