I wrote this poem for a girl that was in my life back in high school. Over 10 years ago.

If words could only say enough

As I sit here at night,
And stare into the sky,
The twinkle of the star’s light,
Reminds me of your eyes,
They’re gorgeous and blue,
And glisten really bright,
Every time I look at you,
It’s truly an amazing sight,
Your smile lights up your face,
It shines from side to side,
Like the sun’s embrace,
Along the ocean tide,
Your voice a blessing to hear,
So beautiful and sweet,
Music to my ears,
It’s really an amazing treat,
Your heart is very grand,
Full of joy and love,
You’re willing to lend a hand,
Like our father up above.
