I wrote this in memory of my lost grandma

I miss you when the sun comes up
I miss you when the sun goes down
I miss you on my birthday
I miss you on your birthday

I will go to prom and you won’t be there
I will graduate and you won’t be there
I will get my first boyfriend and you won’t be there

I think of you when I go to the dollar store
I think of you when I go to the pool
I think of you when I see a little girl with her grandma
I think of you all the time
