A Valentine for Deb

Love

It's often said that love is blind
and clouds a lovers waking mind.

But this I know to be untrue
for you love me and I love you.

It's like a taste of soft ice cream
and gently weaves a lovers dream.

Through the years it's grown strong
and all this love has lasted long.

Forever love and through the night
you are my soul ... you are my light.
