I wrote this after losing someone I cared for very much

As the days go by
I wonder why
I feel so empty deep inside
Things that make me happy
Now only make me sad
I wonder why my life has gone from being good to being bad
As I stand here today and look at your face
Wishing in my heart that I could fill this empty space
Then I realize the problem
I know what to do
To forget about love
To forget about you
