Beyond the Words

A mirrored Nonet reflection.

Words
alone,
nouns and verbs,
are not enough
to project the core
of our humanity.
We perceive essence beyond
what the vocabulary found
in a dictionary can convey.

Poets ponder the meaning of life
and launch lyrical tropes to boost
the imagination past
the bounds of logical
thought and soar into
the realm of soul
to retrieve
profound
truths.
