The Unknown

I wrote this poem several years ago when I was a teenager on LSD. LOL

The future is lost without a past
Our world’s rewards taken so fast
Minds melt in our endless journey into the unknown
Lifeless body left behind as the soul rises into eternal bliss
The universe is painted with the colors of deception
Days and nights ever changing our perception
We soon learn our fate is decided before it all began
The future is clouded in a shadow of doubt
For neither you nor I know what this life is about
