What exactly will I find when I look?

Looking for a shadow
that once did not follow,
but lead.
Looking for a glimpse,
a sliver of the past
that hid.
Looking for the decisions
that molded me unknowingly
and destroyed me.
Looking for a counteraction
to replenish my mind
and fix me.
Looking for someone
to tell me not to change
and love me.
Looking for the reasons
to stay in one mind,
to remain.
Looking for the end
where I will say goodbye
