Huzzah for purple prose! A poem.
Dedicated for my mother, with love



Sumptuously colored, the ravishing old portrait

has sweet-looking elderly lady,

dressed in velvet-jacket of fabulous ruby-red,

holding a loveliest rose in her hand,

she's the queen, she's the life,

she's unpolluted and filthfree.
