Just a quick poem because I feel like writing. Not exactly genius, and very juvenile. ??

If Wishes Were Horses

If wishes were horses...

My wishes are horses

I wish for a horse

A pegasus

Wings beating at the stars

Combining heaven and earth

Water and fire

Dreams and reality

A unicorn

Magic exemplified

Adding to perfection

A worldwide legend

And every four-year-old's greatest dream

A lesson horse

Tired eyes and worn feet

Patient and kind

Tolerating the intolerable

A saint in horse clothing

I'll wish upon a star

And my dreams will be taken

On the back of a pegasus

Up to the heavens

Where a unicorn will be waiting

And maybe

Just maybe

If I pray hard enough?

She will listen to my hope

Grant my wish

And give me just one more ride

On that saintly old lesson horse
